>>42144474Define "cute". Pokemon definitely has the biggest variety of cute designs, but Dragon Quest Monsters does have some conventionally cute monsters, even beyond just the slimes. Pic related, for example, is straight adorable, as are Sabercubs. There's also several other monsters that I personally consider to be varying degrees of "ugly-cute", with something like a Hammerhood or Small Fry being closer to the cute end of the spectrum and a monster like the various Chimerae embracing the ugly side of things.
And the aforementioned Slimes comprise an entire family of conventionally cute mascot blobs, with the odd badass like Shogum thrown in for good measure.
