>>33680141The general storylines, while generic, aren't bad if done properly. All of the games have quite a bit of potential, it's just that I don't feel invested in the world due to how flat a lot of the characters are.
I expected Super's Connection Orb system to give players a way to better understand both the major characters from Super to all the past cameo characters, and while there were moments where you can connect with characters by talking to them, it essentially boils down to a single "Let's discuss [dex entry personality quirk]!" line before cutting to black.
