There is a reason they have a lot of alt accounts, tags, warnings and such in their social media. It was even more visible in old jp art sites, where simple things like genderswaps could have a lot of content warnings.
The best we can see of it, if we don't understand japanese, is when galleries and accounts get closed out of nowhere (sometimes that's also tied to the artist going professional, but yeah).
