Nuzlockes ain't much good if you don't follow the rules...and though I did beat Jupiter, an initial reset out of frustration at a certain member fainting was both counter-productive, immature, and served to invalidate my run - trying again was a call on the part of my conscience, if you can call it that. So trying once more, fourth or bust, at risk of seeming like a massive attention whore. This run crashes and burns, I'm just focusing on my dormant Pearl attempt.
Gone with Chimchar, back around. Gone through the first portion easily enough, almost back where I was. Lost Dodger, my second catch, in her first battle to a crit Tackle from another Bidoof...name was sort of ironic, I guess. And Icarus, my first, was recently felled in Eterna in that double battle with the Psychics that had a Psyduck. He took out an opposing Meditite, and was immediately fainted by a crit Water Gun for his troubles. Reaching Lv. 18 at a time where the others were 17 or a little less, for a brief moment, he soared higher than everyone else...and then his wings melted. More irony.
Just been grinding up for Gardenia, and even though Vlad is lagging behind a bit, I'm ready and raring to go, After that...Jupiter. Again. Hopefully better.
