>>36183072>This is all a good thing because it means less casual pandering crap in the good mainline games.We don't know this though, and Gamefreak has lied to us before, Gamefreak is SO out of touch with what the "hardcore" audience wants that it's much more likely they'll think that a Battle Tree clone will be enough to satiate the fanbase. Gamefreak seems to refuse to listen to what people are saying evident by how USUM didn't have a cutscene skip, or how we still don't have proper difficulty settings even after BW2 introduced the idea.
You're putting way too much faith in GF when they've done nothing but slight us time and time again.
