IRL Humans had sex with other Humanoids during caveman times and this wasn't considered bestiality by anthropologists. Humans may have sex with Alien peoples in future times and this isn't largely considered bestiality by our sci-fi thinkers.
If your wife is a magical transforming canine, or a dragon, or perhaps a giant, and you have sex with them that results in children I wouldn't consider that bestiality, by virtue of their intelligence. It's definitely unusual within the context of our 'anthropocene', but I'd imagine if we still lived in ancient 15,000 BC times we would probably be more comfortable with miscegenation between talking animals and fantasy humanoid races.
