Always heard that the Kyogre and Groudon episodes were a real let down, now I see why. They had several points of the Magma/Aqua arc from the games that they just didn't adapt for some reason: Stealing the submarine, Mt. Pyre, the entire secret base part, even Sootopolis. I was kind of shocked to see that the conclusion was hitting already. The actual event itself wasn't anything to write home about either. Ash and co. basically did nothing that helped. What a waste of a plot that they were building pretty well through sporadic episodes.
Did Rayquaza show up in the anime before X&Y then?
