I've been having some very weird issues. I've been playing for a week now and almost every single match I play is a bot game. The waiting queue is mostly 2 minutes or longer, and then it just matches me up with and against bots. It's extremely rare for me to get matched with real players. How do I know they're bots you ask? They play like bots, they all have the zoomed in avatar on the loading screen, and I can't click their names after the match. So they're bots without a doubt.
Yes, I am winning all of these matches. I've played about 60 matches now and only 3-4 were against real players. It's becoming kind of annoying at this point. I never got banned/reported as I still have 100 fair play points. I have the regular version of the game (wouldn't know how to get an other one lol) and I live in the US. I've tried different internet connections (my own house, my friend's house, public Wi-Fi) and they all keep giving me bots all the time. The weird thing is, the few matches that did have real players were against people with Japanese and Korean names... Maybe it's a server issue? I've even tried playing ranked together with a friend, but then we are the only two real players in the whole match. He wants to keep playing with me for free wins, but I honestly don't want to have this issue anymore. It's not my connection, as it's happening on different connections. Is it my Switch? Is it my Nintendo account?
I don't need to hear "join my lobby, so we can see if we get bots" because I've tried that countless times already. When I play, I get bots. Ranked or standard, doesn't matter. I hope anyone can clarify this. I really want clarification on why this is happening.
