Thanks and beat the Elite 4, I found karen personally harder because darkrai's speed and power is just too much but eventually clef tanked and killed it. Lance was surprisingly easy but it's probably because my team resists a shitton of dragons, Clef delt with the first 2 mons, skarmory beat another, Greninja killed rayquaza, and aegislash + ferrothorn dealt with the rest.
My opinion on the game is very similiar to bunken's the early game is insanely difficult with alot of bullshit trainers but atleast the rewards are good. Screens weren't that much of an issue but it's probably because my team is alot more bulky then the average. By the time you beat whitney you can get alot of fun broken items and moves like life orb and choice items yet the game still remains a challenge all the way through because gym leaders also have the same broken moves and items. I definitely recommend this game if you can endure early game.
