Carracosta could have wrecked me, but Clay decided it was a good idea to set up curses against my Gothitelle. She took care of his three pokemon with no trouble. She's really carrying the team's weight on her shoulders, since I keep running into water and rock types, who just fuck my shit up. And my last catch was a Marmortar nonetheless. Yay more fire types.
I'm sad to say that I've lost my starter to Cheren, though. The starter choices were Braviary, Remoraid and Magikarp. I didn't want to lose the challenge in route 1 so I picked Braviary. Now, Cheren has a Gyarados as his ace, which is one of the worst things I can battle against it because bite/crunch, ice fang and any water move just destroys my team.
I wish I could have caught a Blissey on route 4 (got a fucking pidgeotto instead). My team could use some actual bulk. Hoping to find a nice wall or a bulky physical attacker that isn't ice type. Also hoping I'll be able to evolve my piloswine by teaching it ancient power in the next city
