So the reigon I’m working on has themed gyms instead of type gyms, but there are still type specialist bosses as optional challenges. I affectionately call the the “color guard” since each character’s specialities are based on the colors of types. I’ll have designs and personalities done for them eventually. Most of them are pretty low-priority save for Adam and the Pink one.
Adam, Iola, and David are outliers, Adam isn’t actually part of the group color theme but is still an important character. David inherited his mother’s pink in his design but not the color guard gimmick. Iola’s technically part of the class, she follows the gimmick and gives color guard rewards, but she’s also a gym leader and that’s her primary role. Her gym theme is the same as her color theme.
