Also I really hope that the announcement doesn’t include shinies. I figure shinies are inevitable with Gen 2, but I made a promise to myself that if shinies are ever introduced I will stop playing the game. I’m too autistic about shinies in the main game that Pokemon Go shinies will just make me go nuts. At least in the main game there’s never really much risk of them running away, and you can prepare for those that self-destruct/roar/whatever.
The flee rate would just drive me insane. I don’t want to put myself through that
or my husband. I even promised him I’d uninstall if shinies were introduced :(
