>>22572447"Mother, wouldn't it be easier to simply use Psychic on Skrelp directly?" asks Serena, "He is weak to all kinds of mind manipulation, it would certainly lead to his defeat....Ah.. Not that I mean to offer any 'biased' assistance, or anything.."
Malva's quick to address her little issue, "Easier doesn't always mean 'funnest'. If I wanted to play matches like that,
I'd go online.""...Funnest isn't a word."
"Rellllllllllp!"
As soon as the second-half of Bounce commences, Skrelp desperately searches for somewhere to land. Luckily he manages to wrap his fins around Chandelure's spoopy chain, swaying him left and right with unanticipated momentum. Irritated and a little bit anxious, Chandelure yelps and tries to stop himself from swinging.
"C-Chaaaan?!"
Neither Skrelp nor Chandelure take the Shadow Balls into account though. What Skrelp thought was a close save actually turns into a disaster, the shadowy blobs strike both him and the chain in a ghostly explosion, sending Chandelure plummeting once again, this time against his will.
"C-CHAAAAAAAAANDDDDE!"
You gasp as Chandelure and Skrelp make an unexpected reappearance out of the smoke. Chandelure yells until he hits the floor with a THUD, it was a little more lowering than he needed, and he ends up becoming dazed because of it.
"Huh... I guess that works?"
