>>53374451>See previous comment. That applies to y'all two, too.Anyways, since you did explicitly ask for it, a quick summary here
So basically the Axew partnermon finds the protag mon, a Snivy, having been recently turned into a pokemon, lost and confused
after being attacked and hurt a bit by the random mons in a mystery dungeon at the end of it
manages to calm her down enough to lead her back home, where he, full of concern and a bit of adoration for this strange new
plant pokemon he's never seen before.
And of him giving the Snivy a place to stay for awhile while they recover and
sort themself out, helping them get used to the ins and outs of her new plant-snake body with his know-how about gardening, his love of plants and loneliness and need for a friend leading them to form a lasting partnership bond I'd love to eventually grow around this sort of intro prompt to, as I mentioned earlier, write up a story where the partnermon is the
hero of the story, with the human-turned-pokemon being the one he relies on to see him through to the end and help him overcome his own
faults and flaws.
The games don't really delve too deeply into this beyond just "oh I was looking for a friend and that's all I needed to get me going to go do my dream of whatever" such as building Paradise, joining the wigglytuff guild, etc
But then the games focus almost entirely on what you do, with little in the way of character development for the partner beyond just them being someone obsessed with the main character.
That's one reason I loved that little conversation in GTI so much, where the partner pokemon talks about his own backstory of being all alone his whole life, mentioning how he was a lot like how Virizion used to be too.
