I would like it, but don't see it happening. Certain characters should be datable by either gender, and they have different likes and dislikes, and hobbies. So where you take them on a date for example will either improve or reduce their affection. Also, certain characters might like overt flirting or being teased playfully, but others might not like being flirted with in public or be too sensitive to tease. Basically different dialogue options would win you affection for different people. Although it would be easier to make them datable no matter who you play as, like skyrim, I feel like people would get angry over stupid shit because Gloria can date Marnie and Victor can date Hop. Doesnt even have to have so much as handholding, just going on dates and shit, but soccer moms and people on this board will get pissed like they do in yuri threads.
