>Why is it your favorite?When I played GS I wasn't big on water types so I never bothered to catch one. Since I didn't evolve a Sentret or Rattatta either, I got stuck when I made it to Olivine. I started over and chose Totodile and it was a lot more fun to play with than Cyndaquil was. Feraligatr's design quickly grew on me the more I used it. Totodile was also the first shiny I ever bred. It was in BW without using the Masuda method or the Shiny charm.
I filled the PC with eggs and started hatching them. A couple boxes in I hatched a shiny female Totodile, my first bred shiny ever. The very last egg I had hatched into a shiny male Totodile too. I couldn't fucking believe it. I lost both shiny Feraligatr as well as a shiny Growlithe, shiny Elekid, shiny Roserade and shiny Samurott that I spent two months soft resetting for when my sister deleted my file on White 2
