1.) Many of the people that buy every iteration will turn their heads as a statement to Gamefreak.
2.) The the vast majority of people that this game is trying to advertise to with the GO part, are not willing to buy a new console and a $60 game just for one experience.
3.) the games pre-orders have been taking the biggest dive Pokémon has seen in a long LONG time, not just the lack of pre-orders, but the amount of canceled pre-orders.
Pokémon will still sell, but not as much as they would want.
