>>53078972Probably not. The only options for it to get that stand out are Electro Ball for PvE or Eerie Impulse for PvP. Even if Electro Ball had Frenzy Plant-level stats, it would still be a mediocre Pokémon compared to Electivire along with the electric-type legendaries and Xurkitree, and that's not even factoring in Shadow Electivire and Mega Manectric.
In PvP, Eelektross is pretty bad because it's too frail to last long and it doesn't do much damage since its best charge moves in that format aren't STAB. Getting a better fast move than Spark would be nice, but it wouldn't necessarily help its position. However, if we were to make Eerie Impulse an electric-type version of Acid Spary (except it decreases attack instead of defense) and give it to Eelektross, it could slow down an opponent that it swaps into. Then again, it being so frail means that you'll probably just find yourself asking "Wouldn't it just be better if Eelektross could one-shot its opponents like Electivire. or weather attacks so that it can live beyond two charge moves like Magnezone, or have a better typing and a better overall moveset like Galvantula?"
Unless they give it Thunder Sho- oh wait it can't learn that... Unless they also give it a better fast move (maybe make Thunder Wave an electric-type Bullet Seed) or heavily buff Acid, there's basically no chance Eelektross is ever seen outside niche play in something like the Electric Cup.
