As a reader, I suppose I would have to find things interesting to not mind the slow plot/pacing or lack of action. That all depends on my investment in the story itself at the time.
Hopefully people are at least still somewhat entertained by technical theory crafting and awkward conversations.
TDT10 was once 7600 words longer, with PoV and scene shifts and other things being covered to help spice up the release back in the day, but a 20k chapter was a slog to read (hell, the current 12k+ TDT10 is), so I split it up where it made the most sense.
TDT11 won't be entirely talking, any readers of mine.
