>>36868845You've got assets with subtle outlines and assets with THICC black outlines mixed together.
You've got pines, small trees, and the Safari Zone trees clustered together when a simple group of pines would look far better, especially considering the mountainous area. Save the small trees for smaller spaces like you have in the upper left.
Those traffic lights are used in places they really shouldn't be (a crosswalk and a turn), while the intersection doesn't have one. I think you should scrap them completely, to be honest. And speaking of the intersection, it leads right into a set of stairs at the route gate.
When designing dirt paths, you have to think about what they really are: they're where people have instinctively walked and eventually wore through the grass, so it makes sense that they'd be more efficient.
It's unclear whether the paths are acting as sidewalks or not. The crosswalks seem to imply that the road is not for walking, so the paths should meet up a bit more to show that people move around the town.
Pic related is my attempt to make the paths work better without changing the overall layout.
Look for or create assets that mesh together more naturally. The ones you're using currently make it look like you grabbed a bunch of free tilesets to fill out a map.
