It's not just this thread but I keep seeing anons give this game a high rating. Not a perfect rating, but something overall very positive, and I wonder, "How?"
Geuinely not trying to insult anons tastes or anything but the game is nowhere near a 7-8/10. What on earth do you see in it? Even if you cut away the performance issues and instability, you have
>barren open world filled with random littered items and random props
>janky physics when riding dragonbike
>anything with the physics really, including Gym and Titan challenges
>added tedium to previously more convenient aspects, like TMs and breeding
>somehow a villain team with even less identity
>towns jarringly placed in the middle of the world with no transition
>cities might as well just be cereal boxes with how little you can enter them, instead just have a context menu
>Also the same issues of lacking difficulty, dexcut, etc etc, I won't get into it here.
Surely nothing could be so good that these problems become excusable, right?
>t. spent 22 hours mostly exploring and catching Pokemon, avoided all trainer battles, still ended up overleveled for the one Gym and two Titans I fought, before dropping the game
