He picks unique poses and compositions that bring out each Pokémon’s own unique badassery.
And his brushwork is immaculate: it adds so much texture white not betraying the flat surfaces of Pokémon’s cartoony artstyle with fur or scales.
But truly the his best asset is the way he smears his lines and colors. He’s able to portray movement and dynamism without relying on an excess of speed lines and visual effects that are all too common with CG renders.
