I tried drawing one of Vulpix-anon's characters: Nick's partner, Amelia. Her bio says she has a wool cloak and a scarf dyed in her colors, so I hope this sort of design is what Vulpix-anon had in mind.

Bill thinks he doesn't deserve Gill and why he was avoiding Gill--unless that was already covered in an earlier chapter, and I just forgot). I think you wrote Toge and his rants very well too, especially the part where
Gill joins in. The Uxie plan was interesting, and could set up a good plot in future stories. And there was good comedy as well.
I did notice some places where the tense becomes inconsistent, swapping to present tense when it should remain in past tense. But generally, the grammar was good.
