The following is a list of all the continuity references and easter eggs during the Pokémon XY anime series. It doesn't matter if they were indirect references either. You can't always be explicit about them.
>1. Alexa who traveled with Ash from BW134 to XY001, to promote the Pokémon X version and Y version games at the time.
>2. Prof. Oak's appearances in XY003 and XY&Z047, mentioned in XY006 and XY&Z033 .
>3. Dawn's Piplup being referenced in XY022.
>4. Ash's reserves being referenced (happens in XY&Z033).
>5. Delia appearing in XY&Z047.
>6. Squirtle's Sunglasses easter egg in XY&Z012.
>7. Ash, Iris, and N's cameo in "The Strongest Duo!! Citron and Dent!".
>8. Cilan returning in "The Strongest Duo!! Citron and Dent!".
>9. Steven in the XY mega evolution specials consisting of Mega Evolution Special II, Mega Evolution Special III and Mega Evolution Special IV and in the main series consisting of XY075 and XY&Z040 in a flashback, and physically appeared from XY&Z041 to XY&Z043. Steven was revealed in XY&Z045 to have given Sawyer a key stone and makes one last cameo in XY&Z047. Til then, Steven Stone's only appearance was in AG022 and was only mentioned twice in AG017 and AG021 beforehand.
>10. Ash recognizes the golden cross-like wheel attached to the Alpha Pokémon's body by its round abdomen, in which Baraz and and Meray have as a necklace of and Clemont recognizes it as Arceus. Therefore, Ash has seen an Arceus before. (Happens in Hoopa and the Clash of Ages. The aforementioned Arceus happened in Arceus and the Jewel of Life).
>11. The Mother and Daughter from Lucario and the Mystery of Mew cameo in Hoopa in the Clash of Ages, in the opening of Volcanion the Mechanical Marvel and XY050 on a segment based on Mega Evolution that lasted from XY042 to XY054.
