Then when the episode actually dropped, it seems some things did get changed (the crush, the ribbon being removed (with 0 explanation) plus the fact they kept Serena and Ash as far away from each other as physically possible and went out of their way to give them the least amount of screentime possible) so people started memeing that Amour was retconned in reference to the previous lemon twins episode, and once again Luis was malding. Difference this time being, it actually is up in the air of this being very bad for the state of his ship and all future interactions between them.
Now by sheer coincidence (or not kek) there was an instance of important XY content that is objectively considered an actual retcon. That's not shitposting, that's legitimate observation. Luis is still sore over the previous memeing that he's now panicking slightly that if this part is right, there may be some truth to the retconning rhetoric and this threatens him and his ship/waifu, plus it gives people more ammo to attack his ship with. So now he's coping and pulling the most deranged and stupid explanations as to why they changed AG... because he's totally coming back, to make up for the XY ending of course. Kek.
Basically, it's shipfag autism and the only people arguing are people like this who are hyper paranoid.
