>>12390309they stampeded and brock caught them all with ash's pokeballs. to be honest he should've traded at least one to brock.
>>12390145I believe meowth had a hitler stache too, but regardless they should've just edited the episode.
I feel like primeape and gliscor could've returned in an unannounced episode and just not go back directly into ash's party. Primeape could've become the P1 champion sometime after Orange Islands and have retired, thus giving Anthony no reason to keep him, so Anthony sent Primeape back to Oak and explained the situation. Oak probably called Ash to tell him but Ash was busy losing to everyone in the Hoenn league.
Similarly, Gliscor could've finished training with McCann and was just sent back to Oak.
After Orange Islands or Kanto I believe Squirtle rejoined the Squirtle Squad and became a firefighter, but I guess he could've retired sometime after kanto/orange anyways too.
>tl;dr all of his pokemon that went "to training" came back sometime before the end of Sinnoh. pokemon that were released (lapras/butterfree/pidgeot) are no longer under his ownership, and thus are doing their thing in the wild.while we're on that though, what is with pokemon being released to guard weaker pokemon of the same species?
>ash's lapras becomes leader of lapras>ash's pidgeot guards pidgey of viridian forest>misty's togetic guards togepi of the mirage kingdom>jessie's and james' arbok and weezing to guard the ekans and koffing of some area from poachersalso on that note pokemon released for breeding purposes
>ash's butterfree>jessie's dustox>james' victreebel/magikarp salesman's victreebel
