Just started Gen 5 games. I'm going through White right now, just beat Clay. I will list all of the pokemon I have and the one more I am going to catch. I'm not going to catch any more, but I would like some opinions on which six i should use to beat the game.

As of right now I have:
Samurott
Pansear
Darumaka
Zebstrika
Scraggy
Tranquil
Archen
Solosis
Will eventually get:
Axew
Larvesta via egg

Archen can't into fly, but Archeops can.

Just carry Tranquill around for your flying needs, andthen box it when Archen evolves

Solosis is a solid psychic type, takes hits like a tank then uses a huge special attack stat to blast it back at the enemy. Brillliant pokemon.

What types do the E4 specialize in? And who are Alders pokemon I should worry about?

The Elite 4 are Fighting, Dark, Psychic, and Ghost. You can fight them in any order. Alder has mostly Bug Pokemon so maybe have a mon with fire moves.

You don't fight alder at the end of the game. you fight the leader of the evil team after the elite 4, then you can optionally fight Alder after rematching the elite 4 after beating the evil leader.
