Is it cool if I post a couple teams I've been mulling over for a playthrough of Black 2? I mean I don't really need the specific analyses, just things that would help in the main storyline, like "This team would get wrecked by x type".

Both are pretty weak to rock and water, so I'd personally pick Vaporeon over Weavile(Less rock weaknesses) and Ferrothorn over Whimsicott(STAB SE against Rock), but the latter doesn't matter as much. Make sure you've got your HM's covered though.

Thanks, but am I mistaken in thinking that having too many dual-type pokemon on one team can make things worse instead of better? I usually try to have no more than four dual-types on one team.

Espeon's fine, and Scyther has the same base stat total as Scizor so it's not the end of the world if it doesn't evolve, less so than Magneton.
