I think pikachu might be the sole unevolved pokemon that can evolve to have a Mega Evolution. Unless they plan to not including it in the anime or having Ash's Pikachu get it's ass spanked and forcing it to evolve. Then again, it could be an anime only thing since Ash's Pikachu is basically the Joey's Rattata of Pikachus.
