Assuming that Pokemon Bank works via a password system, then you should be able to use it to transfer all your Pokemon, reset the game and withdraw them all again.

Not sure. But it definitely means that I'm downloading the game now, instead of getting the physical copy. The only worry I had before was that a downloaded copy couldn't be put in my brother's 3DS for trades.
