The 3d models for pokemon amie don't REALLY take less space than fucking sprites do they? I don't think gamefreak employs actual wizards.

3D models are significantly smaller files than spritesheets, textures aren't quite so bad because you only really need one per pokemon, and if you actually look at the models you can clearly see that the textures aren't all that high res, honestly, im pretty sure it all adds up to about the same total filesize as it would be with sprites.

That being said, 1.3GB isnt all that massive, so dont be expecting any other regions besides kalos.
