>>14362632Meanwhile there are not enough moves in the first place for Ice to benefit from and the few ones they DO have, a lot of Pokemon (both Water and non-Water types) can learn. The worst part is that just because the strongest Ice move can be used by all Ice Pokemon, doesn’t mean that all Pokemon were meant to use it, especially if they’re physical attackers. Meanwhile the other types at least get one or two high power moves with good distros and high BP, they can AFFORD the shitty distros with all the good ones they have since a lot of the lines get high BP semi-exclusive moves. Ice Pokemon usually don’t.
>Ice moves (75BP+)Ice Punch (Physical, 75BP+) Actually has a good distribution so no reason to use it on Ice Pokemon
Icicle Crash(Physical, 85BP), the only useful physical Ice move besides Ice Punch but with low BP compared to the STAB moves of other types
Ice Beam (Special, 95BP), pretty much any Pokemon that can learn it is a wiser choice than an Ice Pokemon
