Alright, it's 8PM and I had my Mega Ring upgraded late last night. What do I do to track Mega Stones? The Ring doesn't have a 'Use' option, so what do?

Have pokemon hold stone.
Go into battle. click on items.
Click use item.

Just walk around. The mega stones look like twinkling stars on the ground. Sorta like dropped items in Colosseum. There's nothing you have to do other than have your ring upgraded.

Hold what stone? Any Mega Stone on any Pokemon that can Mega Evolve? What Item should I use?
