I fucking hate Tierno.

But, I don't really know why. There's nothing I really hate about his character. It's not like he ever does anything offensively bad. Yet every time I see his face, every time I see him do that little dance, I want to stab his stupid fucking face in with a Honedge.

But, why?

What annoys me--other than the dance itself--is that it's all he talks about. "Hey anon! I can't wait to teach my Pokemon a new dance move! I like to dance! DANCE!"

It's like when adolescents "casually" mention that they like to skrateboard in every single conversation ever, or when people post photos of their yard work on Facebook. Because activities and interests don't count unless people know you engage in them!

My issue(s) with him are that:

I like his design, but as a character he's pretty shit and literally nothing of value would be lost by removing him from the game. Trevor is just as shallow of a character but he's there to make the retarded kids feel good about themselves (Oh you caught 1 pokemon! You beat me!).

As a person who grew up as "that fat kid" i was so glad that pokemon will have fat character...finally. I was surprised because this piece of weaboo culture seem to support only lolis and girly boys. May be the fat character being equally cool as main characters will inspire some kids like i was. I mean - he's fat but he's optimistic, want to dance and be a pokemon master? Right?
I remember when i was growing up i hated that most of fatties in pop culture are nothing but objects for skinny people to laugh. They dumb, they can't have an actual story and often live in a shadow of more important ones.

I wish he was at least more powerful or had better reasons to be on a journey. He's the same "fat kid token" as that crap i saw in 90th. Nothing changed.

I wish the characters were folded together into just one or two of them, to make them more three-dimensional. Like, maybe have Tierno also fuss over the Pokedex too. He might be a dancing machine but new knowledge is very important to him, and his thirst for knowledge would reinforce his dancing.
