Gen 5 > Gen 1 > Gen 4 > Gen 2 > Gen 6

Somehow gen 6 had the worst story team flare was bearly in it then suddenly the Climax and they bearly explained the story between yveltal zygarde and X. It felt like they didn't belong at all.

Also I didn't list gen 3 because I never played the games im waiting for ruby remake :D

Gen 6's story was absolute garbage but I think I might have actually liked it the best.

I'd be lying if I said it probably wasn't because of all the pokes being 3d with amie and super training.

Gen V was so laughably stupid and camp. It really felt like a romhack. I get they were trying to make it story based, but it was just so fucking silly with Ghetsis's stupid robe and ancient prophecies and castles rising out of the ground.

I like the whole self-insert thing in Pokémon. Having an actual plot instead of subtle references bothers me to no end.

Well I like copy pastas as much as the next guy but I I really liked 5 gens story because you not aiming to become the pokemon leader for once but instead have a epic zekrom reshiram battle with N and his "dad" as the final boss in N's castle toweringbover the E4

i'm not sure where to put 2 since i like the fact that it's a continuation of gen 1 but nothing really happens in it. oh wow team rocket take over radio tower!!! who give a fuck. and the whole kanto part has no story besides you going to gyms. i guess i liked the atmosphere of the setting rather than the story itself.

Gen V's story started at the top then took a fucking nosedive because they pointed out the biggest flaw in the setting and then just sort of left it there without addressing it because it turned out the person saying it was a bad guy.
