Mike was still stuck in the Distortion Realm, with only the Black Mage to guide him. They'd just finished up a fight with... whatever the hell lived here, with Mike's team being exhausted and recalled afterwards. Mike didn't exactly have a guide for this part of the trip, so he'd have to count on trying to keep within sight of the Black Mage. Given the darkness around them, which oddly didn't affect sight of him, it should be rather easy... though the gravity would have to be carefully controlled, unless Mike liked the idea of crashing into an invisible patch of terrain at terminal velocity. [Evens he follows along fairly well, odds he gets lost. Even dubs is perfect tracking, odd dubs is a crash.]

After what felt like several minutes of travel - who knew what it really was, given how this place worked - the guide slowed to a halt. Mage felt around and found a plot of land to his right.
