>>16284236Mostly as a toxic spikes anti-lead. Has a decent enough special attack stat to get rid of things like Forretress, Skarmory, and Ferrothorn using hidden power fire. I built mine with enough special defense and HP to take even a modest goomy's draco meteor. It dents anything not steel/fairy that switches in incredibly hard with draco meteor.
Thunderbolt is a nice option to do more damage to bulky waters who eventually figure out you're running HP Fire and even skarmory, Venoshock/Sludge Wave both work on fairies who try switching into draco meteor. At one point I just Scald for extra burn support on what I can't hit with toxic spikes though, but at that point you might as well use Tentacruel.
It's decently effective for what it is though.
