best spread is 31/even/30/31/31/31

lower attack is better if a special attack, but need 30 in attack if mixed attacker.

What do you mean with odd and even? For example 31, that would be odd, but only 31 can be odd? Like, if I get 29 that shit won't work?

no, it doesn't matter what the IV is, but if it is odd in your case then 29 or 31 either will produce the same hidden power. Hidden power only cares what IVs are even and odd, and not any particular value (as of gen VI)

Unless your breeding for HP ice on Jolteon, you shouldn't bother with it. HP isn't as good as it was now that it's power has been decreased.

Also, if you are aiming for HP ice, 31/30/30/31/31/31 for max power HP.

There is no such thing as max power any more. technically 31/0/30/31/31/31 is the "true" perfect spread now since more attack is situationally detrimental to a special sweeper.

HP has pretty limited use in gen VI outside of a few pokemon now anyway. When 2HKOs turn into 3HKOs, that's a problem. Some exceptions include greninja (his HP with stab bonus is better than anything gen V sweepers were rolling with in the first place), and pokemon who have such barren movepools that there really is no other choice but to run a 60 BP attack and maybe hope to capitalize on some 4x weaknesses that your team has trouble covering otherwise.

Just about every Rotom save the fridge forme loves HP Ice. Magnezone can use it to hilarious effect as well.
