Who are some good pokemon youtubers that you guys like? I'm hoping to get some recommendations on people who are fun to listen to, but also are intelligible about what they're saying

Haydunn is the only one i can stand, he uses a variety of pokemon and avoids OU for the most part, and doesn't have a fucking annoying voice like the majority of pokemon streamers

I can't stand shofu, he's as petty and whiney as they come, always having to justify his choices (all y'all bitching me out cause I use rotom wash I guess I can stop and get swept by talonflame every day uh hu hu hu). haydunn says "and I was like" more than he says anything about the game. perhaps it's just me, but I find them very obnoxious and would advise avoiding them if you're looking for someone intelligible.

for battling, I fully recommend pokeaimMD, PIMPNITE, and ThePikaWu. aim may play with pretty big contenders, but his style of commentary allows you to have a better understanding of why something is going on. PIMPNITE is all about smogon NU which is tons of fun to watch because of how unpredictable those matches are. ThePikaWu is an excellent commentator if you're interested in battle mechanics and strategy, he literally spends upwards to 5 minutes at the team preview just analyzing what each role is going to be (if you can get past his speech patterns, he's a really decent watch).

as per non-competitive channels, I wholeheartedly recommend tamashiihiroka. she goes through a lot of the history of the games and uses her experiance as a programmer and rom hacker to point out or explain hidden or strange facts about the games. I also think she's very endearing and charming

The only other guys I watch are shofu and pokeaimd. Chimpact was alright, but the music and tone of his videos make them kind of sombre, though pokeaimd is kind of the same.
I think Shofu is definitely a cool guy to watch, his moves are always so well thought out and he explains everything well so people who are shit at competitive can follow. And I like his mannerisms, right down his black mayne antics to GETHITWITALLATHAT

As an Australian, I find pimpnite disgusting.

I watched a few of his videos for some insight on doubles strats, but he started going all "Smogon is casual VGC is the only true play style BUR BUR BUR" and I lost any accumulated respect for the guy. I don't pick sides since they're just game modes, but his arguments were terrible. It's like the fucking console wars, there are pros and cons and the only thing that matters is what the player wants. But everyone needs a soapbox I guess.

He got too old for the TCG scene and now he's banking on what e-cred he has left to make. Also nice but quiet IRL i met him at the TCG Nationals in 2011 after playing him in one of the side events . He's tall as shit man.

Road to Ranked is fun as hell to watch though, but lately he's been using shit pokemon (like that garbage dragon rush/iron tail altaria, that shitty rain team with all water pokemon, and so on). I'd say Xenon for the quality he puts into his videos. I watched his videos to understand the basics of competitive Pokemon, so I might be a little biased.

ThePikaWu is pretty good too, also for quality videos. Though, him calling everybody his Pika Crew is fucking annoying, but I guess Xenon calls us his Fellow Comrades, so I can't be too picky about that.

I mainly watch those two, but there are other good ones like Hayduun (though the constant sex jokes are annoying) and Shofu, but they're strictly about entertaining, whereas the other two I mentioned are about informing and strategy, so I guess it really depends on what you're looking for.

EtikaWorldNetwork is my second favorite but he hasn't started doing gen 6 videos yet. Hope he will soon.
There are also much less known pokemon youtubers, like TheRedOgre (I know he lurks here), LitPowerMedia, xRazeOvation and others that I can't remember on the top of my head. Great channels.

are you talking about Ins4neGam3rs by any chance? he did a lot of pbr battles and used a trick room team with wailord a few times i think. video quality is kinda shit but i enjoyed his strategies even though they can be kinda gimmicky at times and he recently started uploading xy battles which is cool i guess.
