holy shit stop being such a fucking stiff. berries are there to give an alternative to grinding for full heals as well as additional bonuses if you bother to put in the effort. X and Y's berry field literally took out the entire point of it being an alternative to grinding when in reality what you're really doing is sitting there for 10 minutes planting 30 berries, watering ONCE and coming back for free shit that you'll never have to repeat ever again.
