Why not do that with a city that's actually major then, like Rustboro, Slateport, or Lilycove? I always got the impression that Mauville was more like a suburb.

The city will have expanded since RSE. Watson already had plans to cope with the increasing population, as implied with New Mauville.

I never had an issue with Lumiose city's camera. It's not the best camera, but if anyone thinks it's the worst camera group in any game, then they've not played very many games.

Yeah, there's obviousy loads of games with much worse cameras but I thought just it was pretty bad for a Pokemon game, being used to the downward view.

Mauville was pretty big in RSE, and it'll be even bigger now. I wasn't referring to "since events in the game", but "since we last saw it".

Walled Mauville is likely just to act as a 'gate' to so it can load all the 3D. That doesn't really bother me to much, as long as we don't have ridiculous looking gates in other areas.

The only prob I can see with the Mauville Wall is for egg hatching. >>19919253 This was probably the greatest egg hatching stretch in any pokemon game.
