You know, this gen has been bugging me a bit for different reasons than it seems to bug you. I don't mind the new type, my usual still whoops it into oblivion and stuff, don't mind the lack of new Pokemon, it is just something that happens sometimes, don't mind mega evolutions, it adds some fun finding the new ones and seeing if I actually remember to catch that Pokemon to actually try it.

What actually bugs me is the fact we get a lot of our crap from talking to everybody. Seriously. The last two Pokemon games I have owned (White and Black 2, respectively) have put into my mind to stay the fuck away from everybody like they were the Pokeplague because I fucking hated battling them when I just wanted to catch a certain Pokemon and didn't want to waste my PP since I didn't want to waste my ethers (which I never used anyways since I can't buy them, if I remember right) or walk to the Pokemon center because I didn't usually have Fly on a Pokemon until the end game (this gen changed that because I needed to get to the boutiques fast. I wanted to look the very best, that no one ever was...).

And now, about to head up to the Elite Four and the Champion, I still haven't gotten Cut. Because I was a self imposed social pariah.
