GFs not ignorant. They've demonstrated the ability to make competitively viable pokemon with little to their disposal.

They're doing this shit on purpose. If they wanted it to be good, they would've given it an actual ability.

Latios and Latias get very dissimilar stat spreads, despite their base forms just having swapped SDef/SAtk. THere's still hope.

Swapping offensive and defensive stats is very different than just swapping attack and special attack. Mega Lati@s have completely different roles, Mega Gardevoir and Gallade are simply different forms of attackers (with Gallade being significantly worse).

Sheer Force would've been pretty decent considering the amount of cut moves with crit chance like Leaf Blade and X-scissor he can learn. I would've liked something like Magic Guard myself.
