Actually? Yeah. XY was a much better experience relative to the time it came out. It was the first mainline game to move into 3D, has entirely new region, has entire new Pokemon and a lot of new features. This is just a rehash of RS in XY's engine that couldn't even be fucked to keep customization OR the battle frontier. The amount of new content also seems underwhelming so far. It's piss poor compared to prior remakes.

Minecraft is a pretty fun game. I definitely wouldn't say near perfect though. 9.0 tops.

The thing is with a game like Minecraft a lot of the fun of the game is from the mods and things that the player does, which aren't factors that should be considered in a review score for the base game.

Did you even play FireRed and LeafGreen m8? They took a tonne of features out compared to RS and all we got was the Sevii Islands and a handful of Gen 2 Pokemon to make of for the inability to transfer from Gen 2 to Gen 3 games.
