The spores that had once fileld the air had seemed to subside now, and Hans found it much easier to breathe. But the spores had been, at best, only a moderate nuisance, nothing that could on their own turn the tide of battle.
>>22347723Again, the burst of lightning crashed into Panzaeron. Arcs of plasma shot across metallic feathers, sending the bird crashing into the ground screeching in agony. One more attack like that, and it would be done for. But its job wasn't finished yet, so Hans reluctantly decided to keep the wounded bird in play a little while longer.
'What to do now?' he thought, surveying the field of battle. That damned Scizor was still up and fighting, hitting Stahlos with "super" powered punches that got weaker after each blow, and a single, rather large Galvantua that insisted on ruining everything with its burst of highly-accurate arc lightning.
Oh, and a Shuckle, too. Fuck. Hans had a few things that could probably deal with the Shuckle, but they'd both be at risk from the large Galvantula, so that would not be advisable. Furthermore, the new assortment of caltrops would make any of his potential newcomers take damage, and in the battle of attrition that is a Shuckle fight, every sliver of health matters. Stahlos had nothing that could reasonably deal with the metal mantis, but that wasn't a problem anymore.
"Stahlos, give the spider a taste of the hewn rock! Panzaeron, give the Scizor another drilling strike! Los! Los!"
Digging its tail into the ground, the Steelix grabbed another slab of rock, heaving it at the large Galvantula.
>Stone Edge>0 critsTaking to the air once again, the Skarmory prepared another "dive-and-drill" to launch at the Scizor.
