Can you redesign the battle and experience system to allow the pokemons to evolve while battling?
Shit is truly one of the best features of the anime

I played a hack that had it.
No need to redesign anything, just allow evolution to happen during battle when you reach the required level

word, they should make it so pokemon evolve at random levels, or only accept evolutionary stones are random times and at others times they reject them ("Pikachu rejected 'Player's' Thunderstone. It wants to grow stronger without evolution right now"-or some other filler text could explain this in-game when you try and fail to evolve your mon)

they could probably make this connected to the PID. Like a certain PID would dictate that your pokemon evolves at this point, but another PID would have that same pokemon evolve later or earlier. That would make it more consistent with the anime I think.

I liked what Conquest did, it made Pokemon evolve when their primary stat hit a certain value, so not every member of a species evolved at once
also for the friendship and trade evos, they made it so after hitting the friendship value, that pokemon needed to KO a trainer's pokemon to evolve
it's a little thing, but it's neat

It would be pretty intense and useful, especially in something like nuzlockes. Another thing they need to implement is only using as many pokemon as the gym leader has, so if the leader only has 3-4 you select the same amount and can only use those. When you have a full team and they have half a team, its not as good.
