i was wondering that myself. I've enjoyed running my prankster sableye in y, but I'm planning to move to Ruby and I want mega sableye to be the focal point of my trickroom team. I was thinking a set running calm mind, shadow ball, foul play, and an undecided fourth. Any thoughts?

Standard set, because it's the most effective. Only flexible thing I would say is exchanging one of the moves for Knock Off. Other than that, every deviation pales in comparison to the SB, WoW, CM, Rec set (unless it's custom-fitted just for the team it's on).

I have fun running this guy with Fire Blast, Dark Pulse, Destiny Bond, and HP Electric.

Seriously, just use Dark Pulse / Fire Blast / Nasty Plot / Taunt, it fucking ruins Stall teams

Well, I started this thread mostly because I refuse to believe that the calm mind set is the only good, useable one. I've been thinking about hone claws and adamant myself. The only edge this has over a special set is priority in shadow sneak.

Also, I'm surprised more people don't use the classic Sableye set (foul play / wow / taunt / recover) on their mega, since it still wrecks the shit out of stall teams while handling more physical checks than the CM set will.
