We've had Tecmo Koei make a Pokemon game based on Nobunagas Ambition, we've also had a bunch of games developed by Spike Chunsoft

If you got to choose, what other Developers should get to do their own take on a pokemon game?
How would that work out?

The battles would still be very similar, and even though it'll never happen it probably could be implemented into the regular games

I'd like to see an Etrian Odyssey crossover or a similar old school dungeon crawler done specifically by Atlus. Not really sure how it'd work unless it was like PMD where the mons themselves are the characters, though.
