Never played G/S/C but I played HG/SS a few times. It's worthy playing G/S/C nowadays or not?

I don't mind that stuff, I just want to know if there's anything better in G/S/C compared to HG/SS.

I'm probably sticking with HG/SS, but still curious anyway.

It's slower, smaller, but less handholdy if that matters.

Pretty much the same really, HG/SS is a straight upgrade. Manages to keep the Japanese look too.

Gen IV's engine is so slow it's a grind in itself to just play the damn game, running at what feels like 10fps sometimes.

You mean gen 4 right? Because I fully agree that gen 4's games (DPPt, HGSS) are all terrible and run awefully
