Lance for example, can only touch you with Gyarados's Hydro Pump or Dragon Rage if you carry Ghostmon.
Blue's Rhydon and Exeggutor can't touch you at all. Neither can any of Giovanni's Pokémon except a Fissure from Rhydon.
Blaine is also predominantly normal with Fire Spins.
Try it and be amazed how retarded the AI is. Night Shade will also hit normals.
